How Our Steam Retort Machine Works
After the product is loaded into the basket, it is sent to the sterilization retort and the retort door is closed. Through four-layer safety interlocking, the cauldron door ensures safety. The door is mechanically locked throughout the sterilization process.

The sterilization process is carried out automatically according to the entered microprocessor controller (PLC) recipe.

In the initial stage, steam is introduced through the steam diffusion pipe in the retort, and the air in the retort is exhausted through the exhaust port. Once the exhaust reaches the predetermined temperature and time, it will enter the heating stage. During the entire process of heating and sterilization, it must be ensured that the sterilization retort is filled with saturated steam and there must be no residual air to ensure the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of the sterilization effect.

The vent remains open during the entire process of exhaust, heating and sterilization to promote steam convection and ensure internal temperature uniformity. In the cooling process, it is divided into two stages: micro cooling and full cooling. The main purpose of the micro-cooling stage is to maintain stable pressure in the retort, thereby preventing product packaging from deforming and ensuring product packaging quality and integrity.

Since saturated steam is used in the sterilization process, the working pressure of the sterilization retort corresponds to the saturation pressure of the steam.
Working Principle
This feature makes it more suitable for rigid containers such as iron cans that can withstand a wide range of pressure changes. At the same time, the temperature distribution in the retort has excellent uniformity and the fluctuation range is accurately controlled within ±0.5°C, thus ensuring the efficiency and stability of the sterilization process.
